Sven Wollter turned 86 years old. He was born in Gothenburg but lived in Luleå with his wife Lisa Wede for the last time in his life.
“He was an outstanding human being with a warmth and presence that permeated everything he did and created. It is incomprehensible that he is no longer with us, ”writes Stina Wollter.
Sven Wollter became infected with the coronavirus during a visit to Stockholm in late October.
– I feel a bit half right now. I have a fever and I don’t feel well about it, he said in an interview with Aftonbladet.
Wollter is considered one of the most popular Swedish actors and writers of all time. As an actor, he made his way into the SVT series “Raskens” which aired in the 1970s. After that, he appeared in several major Swedish films. He has won two Golden Bugs for Best Actor, in 1985 and 2001.
He is best known for his roles in, among others, “Hemsöborna”, “Raskens” and “En sång för Martin”.
