During week 45, 4,069 new cases were found in the region, 1,087 more than in week 44.
Now, infection control physician Thomas Wahlberg draws audiences.

Wahlberg urges everyone to refrain from unnecessary contacts, to stay home as long as possible and to avoid meetings and visits to shopping centers.
– The infection is increasing, the number of seriously ill people is increasing and more and more people need medical attention. To reduce infection, we must all follow the strictest general advice! Wahlberg emphasizes.
The press release also states that the need for hospital care for Covid-19 is increasing.

On Tuesday there were a total of 157 hospitalized patients, of which 28 were treated in the intensive care unit
– This is a worrying increase, but the number of hospitalized patients is expected to increase as the spread of the infection increases. That is why it is so important that everyone follow the strictest advice. If we can reduce the spread in society as a whole, we will protect those who can actually get sick from covid-19.
