Total madness – no more popping

I have to honestly say that I didn’t have the strength to open the news links when I first saw the headlines about them. It felt too creepy. Then I read anyway, took a look at the reports, more like an injury check, and what you need to know is this: minks in Denmark have been shown to be infected with corona, and when minks later transmitted the virus to humans, it has suddenly mutated, to something completely different. A mink corona virus, with super properties that can make it really real if it spreads.

A total of 214 Danes have been infected with this mink corona virus. To stop the spread, the Danes have ordered all minks in Denmark to be killed. There are about 14 million and then I tried to see 14 million minks in front of me, but it was difficult. Usually use the Globe for an overview: 14 million minks means more than 1000 Globe sands full of minks, but I still couldn’t assimilate the number, if I collected them in Gärdet I wouldn’t see the grass, just a sea skinned, and I fantasized about how they would behave, how does it work in practice? How to kill 14 million animals? It can hardly be a gentle injection by a vet and the mink falls safely into human arms, but certainly somewhat more time efficient. And I didn’t want to know, but I still googled; they are boxed up and spent to death with carbon dioxide.

It still shows that the Danes take this seriously and are doing it correctly. So the risk is really that the mink infection is the beginning of an entirely new pandemic, starting in Denmark and spreading around the world. Sweden is close by and the carbon dioxide boxes are being prepared here too. And just when we learned to say state epidemiologist, we’ll learn even more: state epizootiologist. His name is Karl Ståhl and therefore he is arguably the Tegnell of the animal world, and he is now gaining more and more traction in the media and expresses concern and is closely monitoring the situation in Denmark.

Soon we may have two pandemics in our lives, and two press conferences, one at 2 p.m. with Tegnell and another at 3 p.m. with the state epizootologist Karl Ståhl, with a government gray background and some sad whip and black microphones from two meters away and Ståhl enters, first. Look globally, how the mink virus spreads across the continents and thus the situation in Sweden, and then the questions from the press, maybe the crazy German has changed the press conference and is now sitting here asking about the Swedish mink experiment, and then you ask on a separate nervous reporters link. magazines, some animal magazines have also searched, “Pets” and “Hippson” magazine, and then the mandatory 3 minute question from Emanuel Karlsten. And the debate rages more and more in the country Are we doing the right thing? 22 zoologists rush to the columns, all boundless narcissists, flammable and in fucking humor, alarming and pretending to express dangerous inaccuracies with incredible self-confidence.

I do not understand how we behave, humans of this time. How do we spend these days with our senses intact?

Also with everything else that happens. Threats of terrorist acts in Stockholm and police with automatic weapons in every corner of the city center. And then an American election that never ended. Had time stalled? One and the same day seemed to repeat itself: would it be Wednesday in Pennsylvania for life? All day, week after week, year after year, we wait for Bucks County to finish, grainy photographs of the polls where poll workers sit and are phenomenally slow with the ballots and the percentage stops, and we keep going flows, at night, we finally take the fatigue passes and you fall asleep and when you wake up it’s Wednesday in Pennsylvania again.

Why don’t we go crazy to a greater extent?

I notice that people go to work as usual, I see them with briefcases in the morning, I see people walking through Ica, they feel like avocados, they buy bayonne ham – as if nothing had happened! Total insanity around us, but people normally live their lives in madness. That no more clicking. That we do not see more people running towards the facades of the houses, rattling in heaps along the sidewalks, that the roads are not full of people who sat and gave up, laughing, crying, apathetic, who no longer lie down, turn off, stop working, enter childhood.

That we function in this madness. Humans are amazing.
