Stacey Abrams hailed in Georgia: she can become Biden’s minister

Georgia has been at the center of the walrus in America. Expressen has previously recounted how Democrats have felt eroded in the traditional Republican state, which was visited by both Barack Obama and Kamala Harris during the election campaign.

And on Friday, Trump’s supremacy suddenly turned to a disadvantage. However, Biden only leads with around 7,000 votes and therefore may be relevant with a new estimate.

That Joe Biden is even close to a win at “The Peach State” is a lot thanks to Stacey Abrams, writes USA Today.

She is seen as a rising star within Democrats and campaigned to become governor of Georgia, but when she realized she would lose, she opted to use her platform to get people to the polls.

You can become a minister

Abrams has long been committed to increasing voter turnout in Georgia, which is one of the states with the largest black population in the United States. More than one-third of eligible voters are black and tend to vote Democrats.

– Stacey Abrams has built up the Democrats in Georgia by identifying that there are many who abstain from voting and attacking them. His method will be emulated in many other places, political scientist Andra Gillespie tells the newspaper.

She was involved in speculation to become a Biden vice president and is now expected to become a minister in a possible Biden administration.

– She has managed to become an important player and there is much she could contribute. She shows what perseverance means and seized an opportunity from which both she and the group are reaping the rewards, says Gillespie.
