Large police raid outside an apartment in Old Limhamn on Thursday.
A man was arrested at 2.30pm Thursday after a police operation in Old Limhamn.
– In connection with a control case, the man threatened the police patrol and locked himself in an apartment, says Jimmy Modin, police press spokesman.
Now the man is suspected of making a serious threat to an official.
It was around 10 a.m. Thursday when a police patrol was going to check on a man in Old Limhamn.
– In connection with the control case, the man acted in a threatening way against the patrol and locked himself in an apartment, says Jimmy Modin, press spokesman for the South police region.
– Since then, we have been on the site with various resources and we tried to get him out of the apartment, but he refused.

On Thursday lunchtime, a major police raid was carried out in Gamla Limhamn in Malmö in connection with an operation against a man who behaved in a threatening manner at a police checkpoint.
In the images, police patrols can be seen using a kind of ladder outside the apartment to reach the height of the window. After approximately four and a half hours, the police entered the apartment and arrested the man.
There was another person in the apartment, but no threatening situation should have arisen between people inside the apartment.
– He was threatening the police, the whole incident was that we wanted him to leave the apartment, but he didn’t want to. Otherwise, everything was silent.
