The company behind Solresor went bankrupt.
This means that business has ceased, Solresor announces on its website.
Bankruptcy trustees now hope to find a buyer who wants to take over.
The Danish company Travel Co Nordic is the parent company of several tour operators, including the Swedish Solresor.
Travel Co Nordic has filed for bankruptcy. On Wednesday a message was posted on the Solresor website:
“The company behind Solresor has gone bankrupt, which means that Solresor’s operations have ceased. Currently, there are some stakeholders who want to take Solresor further under new auspices. You can now have your booked package tour reimbursed by the Denmark Travel Guarantee Fund or wait and see what happens to a potential new Solresor property. “
Peder Hornshøj, CEO of Solresor, claims that another tour operator included in the group, Danish Bravotours, has been bought by Danish investors of the bankrupt property.
The hope is now that Solresor can also get a new owner.
– The rebuilder is working on the sale of Solresor. The last I heard from the reorganizer is that there is interest from Sweden, he says.
