Police were at the Björklinge church site at 8.29 this morning to carry out a search of the house. Then a suspicious object was discovered.
– It is a kind of suspicious object, a suspicious explosive charge I think, says Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro, press spokesman for the police.
– They immediately decided to blockade the area and call the bomb squad.
According to Expressen witnesses, the suspicious object and several other objects were in a car that was parked on the church grounds.
Just before 2 p.m., the bomb squad left the scene. The alleged explosive cargo was then taken away in a security container for further investigation.
Whether it is sharp or not remains to be seen. You have to try it and see what it can be.
Currently, the police cannot say what type of crime they suspect. But you don’t want to reveal that at least one person is suspected of a crime, either the same person who was previously suspected.
– There was suspicion from the beginning and a person was brought in for questioning and searching the house.
