Barack Obama’s boot for Trump – after the bus attack

The day before the election, former President Barack Obama is in Miami, Florida. He’s ready to campaign for his former vice president, Democrat Joe Biden.

Obama also criticized the president’s actions after a convoy of cars surrounded one of the Democratic buses in Texas on Saturday. Following the incident, which is now being investigated by the FBI, Donald Trump posted a video on Twitter claiming that he “loves Texas.”

– You can’t hold the president accountable for all people, but he never said it was wrong. He never said there was no place for that kind of dangerous, reckless and irresponsible action in our democracy, Obama said.

– What will happen to democracy in this country if such action is met with the answer “I think it’s fine”?

Obama: “This is wrong”

The former president then wondered what would have happened if he had acted as Trump did.

– Democrats would have said it was wrong. And you know what, this is wrong. And we can change that, he said.

During the speech, several of the election promises of Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris were also raised. It was about expanding state health care, stronger cooperation with other countries, and more precise preparedness for crises.

In the last question, Biden was described as an antithesis to Trump.

“When the daily report lands on the table with a blinking red light that indicates a virus is coming, then the president shouldn’t leave,” Barack Obama said.
