Nooshi Dadgostar joined the Young Left youth union in 1999, has studied law and has been a member of parliament since 2014. To this day, she has been vice president of the left party.
In late September, the party’s nominating committee nominated her as the next party president after Jonas Sjöstedt.
During the congress, they justified their decision by qualifying Nooshi Dadgostar as a candidate with strong integrity, high work capacity and with communicative and strategic qualities.
The decision to elect Nooshi Dadgostar as the new party leader was unanimous.
