At 08:29, the suspected terrorist, identified as the Tunisian migrant Brahim Aouissaoui, launched his bloody attack in the center of Nice, France.
Half an hour later, he was shot inside the Notre Dame church in the city center.
In the middle, a woman was beheaded, a man stabbed in the neck and another woman stabbed to death, according to Le Figaro.
The third was the Brazilian Simone Barreto Silva, 44.
In connection with the attack, he fled the church to a nearby restaurant, but the injuries were so severe that the mother of three died.
According to the Daily Mail and Mirror, his last words to the nurses were:
– Tell my children that I love them.
The perpetrator is being treated at the hospital.
Brahim Aouissaoui, 21, is being treated at the hospital with serious injuries after receiving 14 shots from the police who broke into the church shortly before nine.
The Tunisian, according to Le Figaro, had arrived at the Nice train station at 06.47. Then he changed his shoes and took off his jacket. According to the newspaper, it may have been so as not to arouse suspicion.
The French intelligence service is not known to have met the terrorist who arrived in Europe, first in Italy, on September 20.
The attack in Nice occurred a few weeks after Paris and all of France was rocked by a knife attack when the teacher and father Samuel Paty was beheaded.
