Florida may be the state where everything is decided.

When presidential candidates campaign there tonight, it is almost entirely the same in public opinion.

– You have the power. If Florida turns blue, it’s over, Biden told supporters.

Campaign tours continue to roll and it is tonight in Florida that the presidential candidates try to convince voters that they have not yet made up their minds.

There are 29 electoral votes at stake in the state, only Texas and California have more (New York has the same number). But unlike the other state giants, who almost always vote the same way, Florida is far from settled. In the past 24 hours alone, the balance has tipped back and forth multiple times between Biden and Trump, according to Real Clear Politics’ compilation of the state of public opinion.

At the time of writing, Biden has a slight edge over Trump in state, which doesn’t bode well for the incumbent president. To get a chance to stay in office, Trump will likely have to secure the state as he did in 2016.

Wind in the sail

It was a president on the offensive who spoke in Tampa. On the back was a recent report on the economy that showed favorable figures. Gross domestic product rose seven percent in the United States during the third quarter, the largest increase since the polls began, according to the New York Times.

– In the last five months, we have broken records with 11.4 million new jobs in the United States. It is the fastest job growth in our country’s history, Trump told his supporters.

On the other hand, Donald Trump accused Hunter Biden, the second oldest son of Joe Biden, of doing corrupt business with China. The audience responded by chanting “lock him up,” a replica of the slogan of supporters against Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

“I didn’t say that,” Trump replied.

“The heart and soul of the country at stake”

Meanwhile, Joe Biden campaigned on the east coast of the state, in the Broward Country area, which is a stronghold for Democrats. Biden reminded his followers what is in the boat.

– The heart and soul of the country are at stake here in Florida. You have the key. If Florida turns blue (the political color of the Democrats), it’s over, Biden said.

Joe Biden then took the opportunity to criticize Donald Trump for the economic report he was proud of during his speech. In a statement, it says that “the recovery has slowed or even stalled” and that existing economic development “helps those at the top but leaves millions of working families and small businesses behind,” the AP writes.

Biden will also speak in Tampa tonight. Donald Trump had planned to speak in another wave master state, North Carolina, but the performance had to be canceled due to Hurricane Zeta.
