New restrictions in Sweden: it now seems that ten Allsvenskan clubs have stopped receiving spectators

As of November 1, the idea is that, among other things, football clubs can host 300 people at their matches. But as the spread of the infection has worsened, the advice has now tightened for various regions of Sweden.

Skåne has already decided to stay at the 50-person border and during a press conference on Thursday, both Västra Götaland and Östergötland announced that the border will also remain at 50 people.

As for Stockholm, where the council is also hardened, the idea is that it also stays at 50.

– Today I have submitted a request to the Stockholm County Board of Directors to limit the number of visitors at public meetings to 50, for which I have received positive advance notice. It will be valid for three weeks from November 1, says Maria Rotzén, acting physician for infection control in the Stockholm Region.

The same seems to be coming true in Uppsala.

– Uppsala is also in the process of making a decision to limit the audience limit to 50 people, says state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell.

This means that ten clubs from the Allsvenskan may lose the opportunity to let up to 300 people into their respective matches. Several clubs have previously communicated that they intend to raffle tickets between subscribers and sponsors. IFK Gothenburg spoke as late as yesterday about how they intend to proceed in terms of tickets for the match against Örebro this weekend. Djurgården had also done the same.

The clubs that are / may be affected are Malmö FF, Helsingborg, IFK Gothenburg, Häcken, Elfsborg, IFK Norrköping, AIK, Djurgården, Hammarby and Sirius.
