Linköping HC is the SHL club that has so far been most affected by covid-19 in its men’s team. Earlier this week, the club announced that pause all your activities after 24 cases of covid from people linked to the men’s team were confirmed.
Now Leksands IF follows the same path.
It was before Tuesday’s game against HV71 that the Dala club confirmed that they had received their first case of covid on the association’s men’s team. One player had been infected and several had reported symptoms.
On Thursday night, Leksand would play an away game against Brynäs, a game that has been moved. The Masers’ game against Frölunda, which was played at Tegera Arena on Saturday, has also moved.
“We adapt”
Now the club has decided to pause all its activities for a little over a week until November 6.
– Now we have canceled since Wednesday. We assume that the team will meet again next Friday because we need a certain period of preparation for the match that we have on Tuesday. We adapt to the current situation, says the club’s general manager, Thomas Johansson, to Dalarnas Tidningar.
Leksand’s next game currently scheduled to be played is against Färjestad on November 10.
