Svensk Travsport has called a press conference on the investigation of the Propulsion horse.
The Swedish Trot presents the conclusions of the investigations carried out in relation to the information on the cutting of nerves in the Propulsion star horse.
The association now claims that the horse is nervous and that the horse gets rid of all his results in Sweden, including the victory in the Elite Race.
Trotting coach Daniel Redén was able to watch his horse Propulsion win the Elite Race with rider Örjan Kihlström until May of this year.
In June it was revealed that the star horse had severed nerves, which means that the horse cannot feel pain and is therefore a violation of doping regulations.
– This is one of the most serious events Swedish trotting has been involved in, says Maria Croon, executive director of Swedish trotting during a press conference.
The investigation finds that Propulsion was certainly stressful in spring 2015, before it was imported to Sweden. During his trotting career in Sweden, the horse managed to take home 38 victories in 45 races and collected more than 26 million crowns. Prize money will also be refunded.
