The leader of the Vårbynätverket, a man in his 30s, was recently arrested in Spain, police report.
During the week he was transferred to his home in Sweden and was arrested on Wednesday as a suspect in a series of crimes committed in the Stockholm area.
Police: “prioritize this network”

As in several other high-profile criminal cases in recent times, the police have received help from the French police to share the hacked communication of the criminals in the encryption tool Enchrochat.
13 people, most of whom belong to the Vårby network, have been previously deprived of their liberty, according to police, who believe further arrests are expected.
