Telia and Com Hem do not agree and TV4 channels may disappear from the channel offering for two million Comhem and Boxer customers.

Friday night, it will be black in the box if the parties do not reach a quick agreement.
– We understand that customers think this is problematic. I can only regret it, says Joel Ibson, Comhem’s communications manager.
– We are surprised to have ended up in this situation again, he says.
After lengthy negotiations, the two grueling companies agreed in December last year. Now TV4 does not want to extend the agreement, according to Comhem.
Customers now run the risk of not getting the channels they counted on and paid for, not even a year after the previous dispute.
“Unfortunately, TV4 has presented an unexpectedly large price increase that we cannot accept,” says Joel Ibson.
It doesn’t mean how much money the fight is about.
Charlie Forsberg, communications manager for TV4, writes in an email that the company obviously wants to reach as many viewers as possible.
“If Comhem customers ditch TV4 amid an ongoing global pandemic, viewers will be able to watch the linear TV4 channel for free on TV4 Play, just like on a regular TV. But we really hope that Com Hem do not suffer a fire again, “he writes.
