Holds a large area
Residents within a 150 meter radius around the house will now be evacuated. In total, some 30 properties are affected according to the police.
– At this moment they are working intensively with the evacuation of the properties, mainly for a residential area. We have a bus available for those who need help from there and have nowhere to go, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, media spokesman for the Mitt police region.
It’s unclear how many patrols there are, but “it’s a big effort with a lot of police officers,” according to Jansson Klarin.
Shoot drama at the time of arrest
The house that is now being investigated belongs to a 55-year-old man who was arrested yesterday after being arrested in his absence for threatening the staff of the Execution Officer.
When the police were going to pick up the man on Saturday night, the man threatened the police with a weapon, after which the police fired warning shots.
– The man threatened to shoot the police if they entered the house. They had to disarm the person who is now in custody, says Magnus Jansson Klarin.
Yesterday, the police drew up a threat report against an official and blocked the house for a technical investigation on Sunday morning.
At present, the information is scarce. However, the Police affirm that traffic on the E16 may be affected in relation to the operation and urges the residents of the area to respect the roadblocks.
