– We do not believe that we can restore the confidence necessary for Havregården to function as a safe place, says the chairman of the board, Jonas Fedder Witt.
The decision comes after the Social Inspection detected deficiencies at the Gilleleje school and demanded a plan on how the school should be able to improve the situation.
– We must admit that we cannot deliver the plan that he would like to the Social Inspection, says Jonas Fedder Witt.
DR disclosed deficiencies at the school earlier this week, leading to the school principal being reported to the police.
According to Fedder Witt, the principal, who has now been fired, has not informed the board about the problems at the school.
However, a former director claims that she has told the board about the situation twice.
