Former duo David Hellenius and Paula Eby’s Tilde left the dance show after last season’s finale.
It was at the spring season finale of “Let’s dance” that host duo David Hellenius and Paula Eby’s Tilde announced live that they will not be returning as hosts for 2021. David Hellenius had led the dance show since the beginning in 2006 , along with Agneta Sjödin first and then Jessica. Almenäs and finally Tilde by Paula Eby.
In early September, Expressen was able to reveal that Petra Mede was very relevant to take over as hostess. It is now clear that she, along with David Lindgren, will assume leadership of the show for the upcoming season.
In “Nyhetsmorgon”, David Lindgren reveals that he tried to get Petra Mede to attend dance classes, as part of the charge for new presenters.
– I try to take her to dance classes on Thursdays, she says.
Both Mede and Lindgren have performed “Melodifestivalen” before, but not together.
