The police must have been alerted shortly before 03:00, the night before Saturday. A 30-year-old man was found seriously injured in an apartment in Bollnäs.
– We got a call about an injured man. He is in his 30s and seriously injured, taken by ambulance to hospital, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, a police spokesman.
In connection with the incident, the police arrested another man in his 30s outside the apartment where the wounded man was found.
– Another man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the wounded man, he is suspected of attempted murder or, alternatively, murder, says Jansson Klarin.
Interrogations will take place during the day.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to the hospital, but the police do not know more about the situation of the injury than the severity.

The detainee will be questioned during the day.
The apartment has been cordoned off and the police will conduct a technical investigation.
