Second bomb alert in Rosengård the same day

It was at 22:20 on Friday that a police patrol discovered an object on the von Lingen road that they judged could represent a danger.

During an earlier alarm in the afternoon, another object, which later turned out to be harmless, was discovered in the same direction.

– It’s roughly the same place, says Rickard Lundqvist at the police command center in the southern region.

– On the previous occasion, it was an individual who called the attention of a police patrol to an object. This time it is a patrol that finds the object.

Once again, personnel from the national police bomb squad were called in to verify the suspicious object.

Barriers were placed that corresponded quite precisely to the afternoon barriers:

From the Adlerfelt road to the von Lingen road and the von Lingen road from the roundabout on the Frölich road.

Just before midnight, bomb squad technicians determined that the object was harmless and that roadblocks had been lifted.
