Two days later, the man’s relatives reported his disappearance to the police.
A search operation was carried out the weekend after the man’s disappearance, in which Missing Persons participated, among others. But without results. On Monday, the police launched a preliminary investigation into an alleged kidnapping.
– It’s because it has disappeared, and it has not happened voluntarily in any way. But it is someone who has made him disappear, says Mats Axelsson, preliminary investigation of serious crimes in Alingsås, to Göteborgs-Posten.
There have been several interrogations with people around the missing person and according to Axelsson, the police receive signals that something that is not normal has happened to him.
Police describe it as the man walked out of the mall and then is completely “engrossed.” Therefore, they seek advice from the public.
