Several municipalities are experiencing ongoing problems with Tunstall’s security alarms, despite the provider’s promise a week ago that the system will work again without problems, reports TV4.

Since the middle of last week, security alarms have been dealing with outages and delays with delayed response times as a result. In Luleå, a woman died after sounding the alarm eight times in an hour and a half without receiving a response, prompting the woman’s relatives to report Tunstall to the police.

One municipality where problems persist is Krokom in Jämtland County.

– Average is 3-4 minutes and response times up to 7-8 minutes. It should be 30 seconds to a minute, Krokom security technician Teddy Roswall tells TV4.

Johan Lenander, CEO of Tunstall, admits that the problems have not yet been fully resolved, but says that now it is mostly the calls that are not working as they should.

– Of course it’s unfortunate. We do our best to have the best possible response times, he says.
