A man in Järna south of Södertälje was arrested for attempted murder after stabbing a woman with something sharp. Police were alerted to the scene Thursday night after reports that a gunman had behaved in a threatening manner with a woman outdoors.
When the police arrived, the woman was injured and the man was arrested. According to the police, the two have some relationship with each other. A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched and a technical investigation will be conducted at the crime scene. The woman is transferred to the hospital.
– Of course, we will speak with those involved to find out what happened and what triggered this incident, says Towe Hägg, police spokesman.
In other respects, the police do not provide information about those involved or what is known about the course of events.
– At the moment, I am skimping information like this at the beginning of a preliminary investigation, says Towe Hägg.
