Today, Huawei has made a box and has presented the new Mate 40 series and the worst of the family is, as usual, the Pro version. MKBHD already has a copy in its hands and tells in the video above about its first impressions of the telephone.
The Mate 40 Pro also offers decent performance thanks to the new Kirin 9000 circuitry, which is the first in the Android world developed with 5nm technology. According to Huawei, the circuit will offer 50 percent higher graphics performance and 25 percent faster CPU performance compared to Snapdragon 865+, while the Kirin circuit will also be more energy efficient. In addition to the Kirin 9000, the phone has 8 GB of frame and 256 GB of storage.
The screen of the phone is of the AMOLED type and has a size of 6.76 inches and has a resolution of 1,344 x 2,772 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Like the Mate 30 Pro, the screen has curved screen edges.
Like Huawei’s previous flagships, the camera module has received a lot of love. This time the module is round, which means that it does not stick out too much, and it is equipped with four sensors. To a large extent, the sensors themselves appear to be similar to those used in the P40 Pro, but the unit has a new suitable wide-angle camera intended for video recording. Speaking of video recording, the phone should support crisp HDR recording and this is done thanks to 90 frames per second being captured to create 1080p video with superb HDR at 30fps.
The phone will ship Android 10-based software, and like the latest Huawei devices, the phones don’t have access to the Google Play Store, but users must rely on Huawei’s AppGallery to download apps of various kinds.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro will be launched on November 16 and the price will be 13,000 SEK.
