Eight boxes containing cannabis from the truck load.
A man brought 147.5 kilos of cannabis to Sweden via Lernacken in Malmö.
After a while, the man had to drive to Halmstad, where the cargo would be left, unaware that customs had replaced the cargo.
The man is now charged with aggravated drug smuggling and two others with attempted aggravated drug crime.
A 55-year-old man is charged with aggravated drug smuggling and three men are charged with attempted aggravated drug crime after 147 kilos of cannabis entered the country.
The man charged with aggravated drug trafficking is suspected of having brought exactly 147,512 grams of cannabis into the country through Lernacken in Malmö. The load must have consisted of 116.6 kg of cannabis and the remaining 30.9 kg of cannabis resin. The estimated value of cannabis is estimated at 6.8 million SEK, but police believe that the fair value when sold on the street would be 16.9 million SEK.

Cannabis was found on two of the approximately 18 pallets in the truck. The image shows the two pallets where the cannabis was.
After this, the man must have attempted to transport the drugs to an address in Halmstad to deliver or transfer the drugs to two men there. However, the Swedish Customs had exchanged the drug in Malmö without the man’s knowledge. The man was allowed to sit in an interrogation room for several hours while the customs service replaced the boxes, the preliminary investigation report shows. The man had to keep driving and continued to Halmstad, where he was to leave the load.
The two men who were arrested in Halmstad, aged between 30 and 35, along with the man who brought the cannabis into the country, must have received, reloaded and transported boxes, unaware that the drugs had been exchanged.
The prosecutor considers that the crimes are serious in the case of a particularly large quantity of drugs and that the crime has been part of a larger criminal activity.
The suspect of having brought drugs into the country is charged with both serious drug trafficking and a serious drug offense. The prosecutor also demands that the man be deported. The other two are charged with attempted drug possession.
After the arrest, bullet cartridges and cannabis were also found in the homes of one of the other suspects. He is also now a suspect in drug-related crimes and violations of the Firearms Law.
