The exact reason for Trump’s halt is unclear, but according to New York Times sources, the president is angered by questions from iconic CBS journalist Lesley Stahl.

Shortly after the interview, Trump attacked Stahl in several posts on Twitter.

This is not the first time Lesley Stahl has interviewed Donald Trump.
In 2018, he lobbied Trump on his views on climate change in an interview, which should have irritated the president, according to CNN.
Stahl has also stated that Donald Trump admitted to him that he deliberately targeted journalists for blackmailing negative news reports about him.
