Björklöven came close to losing points for the first time this season.
Then Oskar Steen hit the far post and sent it 3-2 with just over a minute left to finish off three new points.

Björklöven was like the train at the beginning of the season and before Sunday’s game against Västervik had achieved four of the four possible victories, all in regulation time.

But Sunday was close to stopping.

Coming off a loss to newcomer Väsby, Västervik rose deservedly and managed to overcome a two-goal deficit after Joakim Hagelin scored his 100th goal in the reduced Allsvenskan before Victor Öhman tied.

With just over eight minutes to go, Alex Hutchings awarded a penalty, but failed to outwit Västervik goalkeeper Felix Sandström.

Then the game seemed to be going into extra time, but with just one minute and nine seconds to go, Oskar Steen seized the opportunity when he appeared outnumbered and sent it 3-2.

Västervik then took out the goalkeeper and created pressure in the offensive zone, and also had to finish with 13 seconds in the power play, but the draw did not come and Björklöven now has five 3-pointers in a row.

IF Björklöven – Västerviks IK 3–2 (2–1, 0–1, 1–0)
Objectives, IFB:
Alexander Wiklund, Kristoffer Söder and Oskar Steen
Mål, VIK: Joakim Hagelin, Victor Öhman
