The 23-year-old man was arrested in his absence by the Nyköping district court as early as 8 October and a week later could be arrested by the police in the Stockholm area. So he had been wanted internationally.
The now detained 23-year-old is not only a suspect in the murder of the 21-year-old. He is also suspected of having shot two other people and is therefore also arrested for attempted murder and aggravated weapon crime.
The 23-year-old denied the crime during Friday’s arrest hearing, which was held behind closed doors.
