Djurgården has some injury issues up front as both Anton Hedman and Mattias Guter are long-term injured.

This has made the club look at the possibilities of strengthening the team.

And now they have done the same.

On Friday, the club announced that it will be borrowing German forward Dominik Bokk for the remainder of the season.

– Dominik is a fast and playful forward with a good shot. We believe and hope that it will help us improve shooting efficiency and shooting on goal. Dominik will be on loan from Carolina for the rest of this season, sports director Joakim Eriksson says on the club’s website.

Bokk, 20, is signed by the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL and has previously scored 42 points in 107 SHL games for Växjö and Rögle, where last season there were 17 points in 42 games for Rögle.
