Five years have passed since the Swede Gui Minhai was arrested in China. Since then he has been a prisoner in the dictatorship.
On Friday, there will be a show of support for the publisher, where demands will be made of China, but also that Foreign Minister Ann Linde will do more.
– The message to the dictatorship is very clear: we will not bend, we will not adapt and we will not be silent. Some things cannot be negotiated, others are compromising. Some things cannot be exchanged for commercial contracts. Some things have to do with everyone’s right to say what we want and what is really true, says Jonas Sjöstedt.

He also criticizes the Chinese ambassador to Sweden, Gui Congyou.

– We have a Chinese ambassador in Sweden who has sat down to scold me for an hour, who has tried to silence the newsrooms and who gives himself the freedom to insult those who freely criticize China, says Jonas Sjöstedt.
– I urge the Swedish government to declare the Chinese ambassador to Sweden as undesirable in our country.
KD and SD have also previously stated that they want to send Gui Congyou home.
