Björklöven’s crazy show: she had a great break

[ad_1]

Björklöven is off to a perfect start to the new season with four wins from four games.
In tonight’s match with Västerås, it was a real shock for “Löven” when they won 9-1.

Here’s a sweep from tonight’s Allsvenskan round:

Björklöven – Västerås 9-1 (3-0,4-1,2-0)

Björklöven: Olle Liss 2, Tyler Vesel, Oskar Steen, Alex Hutchings, Carl Grundström, Pontus Andreasson, Daniel Rahimi, Alexander Wiklund.
Västerås: Marcus Bergman,

Wow, what a Björklöven show!

The Umeå team only led straight from the start against Västerås and led 2-0 after just over seven minutes of play. When it came 3-0 later in the first period, VIK switched goalkeepers, out with Emil Kruse and in with Jesper Myrenberg.

It didn’t help much though as Löven only continued to play in the second period and the 4-0 came just 72 seconds in the intermission period. Västerås cut back and looked to keep the match alive, but then Björklöven increased the pace even further.

At the end of the second half, the home team scored three goals in 45 seconds as they went from 4-1 to 7-1.

In the third period, it was also 9-1 for Björklöven, who was able to get a superior victory. Even more impressive is how broad the team is, as they had eight different scorers on all nine goals, Olle Liss became the only goal scorer.

Björklöven has a full pot after four games in which she has accumulated twelve points. Therefore, they are one of the two teams that are still undefeated, the other is Västervik.

Kristianstad – Mode 2–1 SO (0-1.1-0.0-0.1-0)

Kristianstad: Fredrik Hansson, Oscar Öhman (decisive penalty)
Road: Sebastian Ohlsson.

Modo has continued to have major goalscorer issues this season.

In the first game there were two goals but the most recent was zero for Almtuna. Tonight, there was only one goal for the Ö-vik team against last year’s last team in Kristianstad.

Talk about putting salt on my wounds, oh! That is, they won the shots with a total of 56-27 (!!) and, therefore, they threw more than twice as many shots on goal as Modo. The only thing keeping Modo in the game was new goalie Anthony Peters, who actually turned on his head and saved 55 shots.

Peters thus managed to save points for his Modo, the team’s first this season, but was unable to stay close on the penalty shoot-out where Oscar Öhman became the sole scorer and sent the bonus points to the Scanians.

Modo has now started with three consecutive defeats and remains last in the Allsvenskan table.

The teams will meet again on Friday in Örnsköldsvik and it is almost a must-have match for Övik’s band.

Södertälje – Mora 3–4 SO (2-1.0-1.1-1.0-0.0-1)

Södertälje: Måns Lindbäck, Matt Bailey, Nick Olesen,
Should: Wilson Johansson, Ludvig Larsson, Viktor Larsson, Johan Persson (decisive penalty).

Mora continues their strong start to the season as they have scored points in the first four games.

Tonight came the second victory in a row after beating Södertälje on penalties.

Mora took the lead in the first period but SSK changed, among other things after a goal from former Mora star Matt Bailey, to 2-1. The home team also had a golden opportunity to create an advantage when they were awarded a penalty kick.

Rasmus Kahilainen was fouled on a free kick and collided with Mora’s goalkeeper, Olof Lindbom. Lindbom was so bad at it that he broke the game and Matteus Ward entered between the posts. The first thing he did was stop Samuel Fagemo’s penalty to keep Mora inside the goal.

Mora then changed the match to 3-2, but at the end of the match, SSK’s Danish star Nick Olesen equalized at 3-3 to force an extension. However, it became goalless and a punishment would be required to separate the law.

Then it was the return of Johan Persson who became the winner of the match for Mora by becoming the penalty taker’s sole scorer. Persson made his first game this season and thus became a hero directly to the valley team.

Tingsryd 3–1 Timrå (0-0.1-1.2-0)

Tingsryd: Anton Svensson, Filip Cederqvist, Rasmus Bengtsson.
Timrå: Jesper Boqvist.

Without Jonathan Dahlén, without victory for Timrå.

The captain and the big star were missing for the visiting team due to an upper body injury and then Timrå failed to defeat Tingsryd.

The Smålanders had lost two games in a row, but now they managed to break that trend with a good scalp against Timrå.

It was 1-1 after two periods played and Timrå led the game in the third period and won the shots at 16-7 in the final 20 minutes, but it was Tingsryd who scored the goals. First Filip Cederqvist sent in his first goal in the TAIF jersey and then Rasmus Bengtsson was able to punch through the match with his 3-1 goal from an empty goal.

Väsby 0–5 Karlskoga (0-2.0-1.0-2)

Väsby: –
Karlskoga: Henrik Björklund, Filip Roos, Aleksi Rekonen, Mikael Eriksson, Tor Immo.

However, after winning his first game at the Hockeyallsvenskan last week, Väsby again lost track in tonight’s game against Karlskoga.

The Värmlands controlled him for the entire 60 minutes. They started very strong and went 2-0 after the first period.
Väsby certainly played in the second period, but failed to make a hole over Tim Juel in Karlskogakassen, instead Aleksi Rekonen was able to shoot 3-0.

In the third half, he escaped again for Karlskoga who in the end managed to win 5-0. They have now earned two straight wins after starting the season weak with two straight losses.

Väsby has remained tough during the Allsvenskan start and has now lost four of the first five matches. Something worrisome for the newcomer is the poor scorer, since he has only managed to score five goals in five games and has been zero in two of the first five games.

Almtuna – Vita Hästen 1-3 (0-0.0-1.1-2)

Almtuna: Martin Mellberg.
The White Horse: Filip Cruseman 2, Emil Lundberg.

Almtuna had started well this season and indeed led the Allsvenskan table before tonight’s round.

However, it was a bottomless pit against Vita Hästen when Uppsala’s team suffered their third loss this season.

However, the horse got revenge after losing its last two matches. Filip Cruseman led the way by scoring two goals, his first hits this season.

NHL loan William Lagesson continued to deliver when he passed up to two of the goals, Lagesson now has four points in the first four games at the Hockeyallsvenskan.
