The band reunited in 1996, 2004, 2013 and 2019. In an interview with Göteborgs-Posten, Per Gessle says that he longs to go back on more tours with the classic Halmstad band Gyllene Tider.

– I think it would be a great shame if we didn’t do something else, he tells the newspaper but points out that he is only one of the five members and that the corona pandemic makes it impossible to know when they can have great concerts again.

– It would be a lot of fun. There is always something special when the five of us play together, so why not do it again? he adds.

According to Göteborgs-Posten You haven’t talked to others in the Golden Age about a reunion.

When Per Gessle is asked if last year’s tour was not intended as a farewell tour – just over 40 years after the start – along with a final album, “Same scrap and barley”, he says that was the idea.

– But when we finished, he still felt a bit shattered, he tells Göteborgs-Posten.

Gessle is personally updated with an upcoming solo album, “Old love never rusts”.
