On Wednesday, a demonstration was held in front of the city hall to protest the decision.

The Church of Sweden in Hörby, which is located opposite the town hall, has raised its own rainbow flag in protest. But the parish priest Olof Sandström stresses that it is not addressed to the municipality.
– We do not mark with it because we want to do it against the municipality, but we mark the values that the pride flag represents, says Sandström to SVT.
