The school has informed parents and students, but has chosen to keep the school open.
No surprise
The fact that schools are now testing positive for COVID-19 does not surprise Anders Nystedt, an infection control physician.
-We have always waited for this to happen. Now we have had positive cases in the upper secondary schools and now it is a matter of tightening and following the rules on social distancing and hand washing, says Nystedt.
Not applicable to close
Closing any upper secondary schools is not relevant at this time.
– In Sundsvall, a school was closed a week after a crash last Friday, but my assessment is that we don’t need to do it in Norrbotten, at least not now, says Anders Nystedt, infection control doctor.
