Three men are sentenced to prison for the attempted murder of a 14-year-old in Kärrtorp in March this year.

Men aged 18-22 are sentenced for extremely serious assault by the Södertörn District Court. They are also convicted of causing danger to other people, as there was a danger that the people who were at the scene would be injured when the shots were fired.

Police have previously stated that the shots at the 14-year-old were fired from a car by a masked perpetrator. One of the shots hit the teenager in the abdomen and came close to causing his death, police write in a news release about Tuesday’s verdict.

The 14-year-old was at the scene along with two other people. According to the district court’s assessment, the danger was concrete that even people other than the child could have been injured by the shooting.

Two of the men are sentenced to seven years in prison and the third to 3.5 years in prison.
