Tonight, party leaders meet for a two-hour debate on SVT.
Hours earlier, most of the party leaders began uploading videos to social media.
Ulf Kristersson (M) ran:
“Nothing is like the mile before the debate!”
At 8pm, the party leader debate begins on the SVT Agenda, which can be a hot story. This week, KD leader Ebba Busch announced that her party is ready to do something together with the Left Party to file a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.
“Sweden deserves better, Sweden deserves a new government,” Ebba Busch said earlier this week.
M and SD also say they are ready to overthrow the government.
– You can get an answer about what the question from the government will look like in the future. Will it be a government crisis or not? So, of course, there are many points of view before we get to the actual censorship statement, even if Löfven doesn’t give Sjöstedt the answer he wants today, says Jenny Madestam, associate professor of political science at the University of Södertörn, to TT.
All party leaders will debate on the four issues that are relevant tonight: crime, climate, jobs and “the elderly,” says SVT. In the first theme, Stefan Löfven and leader M Ulf Kristersson will meet for the first time in a duel before all participants can enter the debate.
Nyamko Sabuni (left) and Ebba Busch will talk about the elderly. The climactic duel is between Per Bolund (MP) and Jimmie Åkesson (SD). Annie Lööf (center) and Jonas Sjöstedt, in turn, will duel for positions.
Uploading on social media
The last two have uploaded it before their meeting on social media. Annie Lööf posting a discussion article directed at her opponent on Facebook. As started:
“Jonas Sjöstedt, it is time to realize that we have to modernize the Swedish labor market!”
Sjöstedt writes on his Facebook page that this is his party’s latest leader debate and that “I’m thinking of talking a bit about why it is so important with job security.”
Green Party spokesman Per Bolund announced to his Facebook followers as early as Friday that he started uploading files ahead of the debate, with a test debate with his staff.
“Trump and Biden don’t seem so eager to debate more, but I do,” he writes.
Ulf Kristersson was on the ground and recharged with a run, lets him say hello via social media. And the jog in the forest went well in honor of the day: “9.3 km of forest for the fifth time in the last two weeks. And both the goatee, the body and the knees are on the notes. No feelings at all ”.
And finish the Facebook post:
“And a good push before tonight’s party leader debate on SVT. Nothing is quite like the mile before the debate!”
Prime Minister Stefan Löfven (S) writes extensively about how he sees the situation in the country and hopes for a “factual political debate with clear dividing lines” that looks to the future.
And I will never allow clever sayings or sensational outbursts to be more important than doable and in-demand policies that really make a difference. I also hope this is clear to viewers tonight, ”concludes Löfven in his pre-debate post on Facebook.
At the time of writing, Ebba Busch and Nyamko Sabuni had not written anything (on Facebook) about their thoughts prior to tonight’s party leader debate.
Jimmie Åkesson is content to let the person who manages his Facebook page declare that “tonight Jimmie Åkesson will be meeting the other party leaders in the great Agenda party leaders debate. The debate is broadcast on SVT2 starting at 20. Don’t miss it! ”.
