The monitors have stopped beeping and the hallways are empty again. Not a single covid patient remains at the Poliambulanza hospital in Brescia, one of the northern Italian cities hardest hit by the coronavirus this spring. But the gym, which was turned into an intensive care unit, is ready if the infection strikes again. Like in March, when patients from neighboring provinces were treated.
