Västervik is now up 146 cases and is the county municipality that had the fastest increase last week. Other municipalities in the North County remain at the same number: Oskarshamn 82, Hultsfred 47 and Vimmerby 46. Kalmar has 305 cases, two more than yesterday.
In total in the county, the number is now 944, five more than yesterday.
The number of self-tests that have been analyzed has also not been updated today and remains officially at 14,567, but that, of course, is incorrect. It is unknown why the number was not updated over the weekend.
211 (+3 compared to yesterday) of those infected have been found through self-assessments and 733 (+2) through sampling the region. In total, the region has conducted 16,149 tests, 19 more than yesterday.
No one is seen in the hospital
Compared to Saturday, there have been five more antibody tests and now there are up to 2,067, 171 of them have been positive, which corresponds to eight percent. As we have said before, there is a delay in the notification of positive cases.
Compared to yesterday, one more person has been discharged from the hospital and now there are 255 people in total. Currently, no one is being treated for Covid-19 at the county hospital.
The death toll remains at 33.
