Shortly after 12:30 pm on Friday, police were alerted to Frufällan, after several area residents heard gunshots. A 16-year-old boy was found with gunshot wounds. He had managed to get several hundred meters to a house and called for help.

The child must have hit the upper body, but the hail must have missed vital parts of the body. He is also said to have fled the perpetrators in Vikåsudden by jumping into the waters of Öresjön and swimming from there, the newspaper reports.
The 16-year-old was awake and talking when he was taken by ambulance to the hospital. According to the hospital, his condition is serious but stable.
Police are looking for witnesses
