On social media, there are photos from last weekend in Oxelösund when a friend of Åkesson celebrated his 50th birthday with about 50 guests. The images show how Åkesson hangs out with other party participants.
– I was at my acquaintance’s 50th birthday party to play the piano and otherwise I participated in moderation in the festivities, he tells Expressen.
In his summer speech in Sölvesborg on August 27, the SD leader raised the question of distance and mouth protection:
– I think it is normal to recommend mouth protection in a situation where distance cannot be maintained.
KD frontman Ebba Busch’s party has also attracted attention this week. In part a 30-year-old dinner at a restaurant, in part a 40-year-old party where she can be seen in photographs hugging the party participants.
Doctors and researchers have criticized the action, and Busch has subsequently admitted that it would have been better to refrain from celebrating that way.
