Blocked when covid arrived on campus: “Help”
Growing piles of garbage and laundry washing in sinks. The virus has entered British universities and students have been forced to quarantine. Locked up, they ask for help and beer to cope with life on the campus that some now seem like “Her Majesty’s prison.”
“Help us. Send beer.” The message comes from quarantined students at the University of Glasgow. But student isolation occurs in several other student accommodation units in the UK.
Tens of thousands of new students have flocked to colleges, ready to mingle with new acquaintances this fall.
