When will the covid-19 vaccine arrive and will everything be as usual when the vaccine arrives? DN medicine reporter Amina Manzoor explains.

Everyone is waiting for a vaccine against covid-19. And all eyes are on Sweden.

Richard Bergström, the national coordinator who is responsible for ensuring that Swedes receive vaccines, is particularly notable.

The battle for the vaccine takes place between the great powers of the world and in the dark corners of the Internet.

– The Russian vaccine is interesting, I’ll get in touch with them, says Richard Bergström.

“I am partial because I come from the industry. But it is the case that big pharmaceuticals are thought in the very long term. They have said that they should not make any profit from the vaccine, it is a trust building job for them. Its clients are the authorities and the public sector. It would be completely wrong to try to maximize profits in this situation, ”says Richard Bergström.
