The three men will now be extradited to Great Britain.

It was late on Christmas Eve 2019 when 36-year-old Flamur Beqiri was shot and killed in front of his and his family’s apartment on the exclusive Battersea Church Road in Wandsworth, London.

Witnesses have described how a lone perpetrator approached Flamur Beqiri and shot him several times, then disappeared on foot. According to the neighbors, it was a pure execution.

– There were between eight and ten shots, said the neighbor Vittoria Amati.

23-year-old previously arrested

A 23-year-old Swede from Malmö had already been arrested and detained as a suspect on the spot.

He was arrested when he got off a plane at Kastrup in January this year and was handed over to the British police in June. You must appear in court on December 1.

According to information from Kvällsposten, the evidence is very strong against the 23-year-old from Malmö who is already in custody for the murder.

There are, among other things, cinematic images of him that are said to link him to the murder.

Malmö Police Help

Malmö police have previously assisted the British police with information on the possible background to the murder of Flamur Beqiri. It is said that he was shot in revenge for another murder in Malmö.

Flamur Beqiri previously lived in Malmö, but moved to London three years ago. He must have received death threats while living in Sweden and was therefore forced to leave the country.

In London he ran a record company. The apartment he and his family had in London was bought for 1.7 million pounds, equivalent to about 20 million crowns, in September 2017, according to British media.

The 23-year-old has appeared in a murder investigation in Malmö 2018. By the way, he is unpunished and cohabits with a woman in the Malmö area.
