The next presidential candidate debate will be held digitally, the US Debate Commission announced Thursday.
Trump came out quickly and announced that he will not participate.
“Sitting in front of a computer and debating is ridiculous,” he told Fox News.
October 15 is the time for the second presidential candidate debate between Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump.
Due to the fact that Trump recently tested positive for covid-19, the United States debating committee, the Federal Debate Commission, made the decision on Thursday that the debate will take place digitally.
A new plan has been developed to “protect the health and safety of all involved” and the second debate will take the form of a square meeting, in which the candidates will participate from separate and separate venues.
Something that Trump did not like.
– I do not waste time in a digital debate, Trump responds in a telephone interview with Fox News and continues:
– Sitting in front of a computer and debating is ridiculous. And then they disconnect one at any time.
Instead, his staff announce that Trump intends to hold a large election rally in lieu of the debate.
Biden, for his part, is said to have accepted the new format and will participate.
