Donald Trump has spoken again.

In a new video on Twitter, he points to an experimental drug he received at the hospital as a “cure” for Covid-19.

It promises that all Americans will get it for free.

– For me, this is much more important than a vaccine. I feel perfect. It was a blessing from God that she was infected, she says.

Since returning to the White House in high-profile forms Monday night, the US president has not appeared to the world.

Two days later, on Thursday night Swedish time, he published a new video on Twitter. It is almost five minutes long and is filmed in daylight. Judging by what Trump says in the video, it may have been recorded on Tuesday.

– Hi! You might recognize me, he’s your favorite president, Trump begins.

– I stand in front of the oval room of the White House, which is always an exciting place. I came back from Walter Reed Medical Center a day ago. I spent four days there. I didn’t need it, I could have stayed in the White House, but the doctors said that because you’re president, let’s do it. Ja sa: Okay. You say what I should do and I listen to you.

I have a cocktail of antibodies

Trump was taken to the hospital Friday night and then received, among other things, oxygen due to low oxygenation. According to previous information from his doctor, he has been treated with several different medications at the hospital, including an experimental antibody cocktail manufactured by the Renegeron company.

The drug is not approved and there are no independent studies on its effectiveness. The little that is available to continue is a press release from the manufacturer that arrived last week. There, Regeneron refers to his own pilot study of 275 patients with mild coronary heart disease and claims that the drug lowered virus levels and shortened the time of illness for participants who received it.

Several experts have questioned whether Trump received the drug even though it has not been tested.

– It is a bit experimental to administer artificial antibodies. The side effects of this are not known, so it’s a bit dubious, Johan Styrud, chief physician at Danderyd Hospital, told Aftonbladet on Tuesday.

Trump: a cure

In the Twitter video, Trump says the drug Regeneron made it to the hospital in one day.

– When I arrived I did not feel so good. Very quickly they gave me Regeneron and other things as well, but I think this was the key. It was incredible, I felt good right away. I felt as good three days ago as now.

Trump also mentions a similar antibody drug from manufacturer Eli Lilly and says it has approved them for emergency use, a decision that must be made by the US Drug Administration.

– We have hundreds of thousands of doses ready. I have the emergency license ready, we have to sign it now. You will feel better, you will feel better very quickly.

– I know they are called “treatments”, but for me they were not “treatments”, it just made me better. Okay, I call it a priest.

Donald Trump says the military is ready to distribute the drugs.

– I want to take them to hospitals where people feel bad. For me, this is much more important than a vaccine.

Blame China

Trump promises drugs will be free and once again blames China for the corona pandemic:

– I want you to get what I have. And I make sure it’s free, you don’t have to pay for it. It wasn’t your fault this happened. It was China’s fault. China will pay a high price for what it has done to this country and to the world.

In the video, he thanks God that he got infected and therefore was able to discover the medicine.

– I want everyone to receive the same treatment that their president received. Because I’m fine. I feel perfect. I think it was a godsend that he was infected. It was a blessing in disguise. I got it, I heard about this drug and I said let me take it. That was my suggestion. Amazing how it worked.

He ends the video in the hope that the drug is more than just a “treatment.”

– You’ll feel better and feel better quickly, just like me. Again, a blessing in disguise. Good luck!
