During the peak test, the plant will be tested, but the pipeline network, the pumps and the water tower will also be tested. The desalination plant is one of the largest and supplies drinking water in the municipal network in southern Gotland and finally also in the north of the island to Visby.

-We have been in contact with trench companies and others in the south and central island to explain that we do the test and we have to release the excess water, so I hope they are prepared, says Patrik Johansson.
