A 16-year-old suspected shooter has been arrested for the assassination attempt in Järfälla.

The shooter is said to have run and chased the man, who eventually fell.

But when the perpetrator was about to fire the fatal shot, the ammunition ran out.
– He survived because he ran out of bullets, says a source.
The shooter then fled the scene and in connection with that dropped the weapon in the woods, according to information from Aftonbladet.
Arrested in “Operation Robinson”
The police advance in the investigation came after the international operation “Operation Robinson”.
The French authorities then managed to crack the encrypted mobile service EncroChat, where it was possible to communicate without being intercepted.
Later, the Swedish police were able to see the material. Linked to this, three men could be arrested in the early hours of late September, suspected of being involved in the assassination attempt.
They are two 27-year-old young men and a 31-year-old man.

One of the 27-year-olds is suspected of ordering the shooting and has been in custody for two weeks for inciting the assassination attempt.

A total of four detainees are suspected of having planned the act for about a month.
