Varberg’s coach Joakim Persson ended up in a heated exchange with referee Kristoffer Karlsson.

He has now reported to the disciplinary committee.

“Maybe I should be able to put an ice pack on my head and have it cold, but sometimes it doesn’t work,” Persson tells Hallands Nyheter.

Varberg went 1-1 against Kalmar last week. But Joakim Persson’s men managed to disallow a goal for offside. Something that the coach was not happy with.

Persson was furious and ended up in an exchange with Judge Kristoffer Karlsson.

– I thought he was too old to be so damn mad inside, I think it squirted in my ears, he told SVT after the game.

“Aggressive behavior”

Hallands Nyheter now writes that Persson has denounced the disciplinary committee of the Swedish Football Association for “aggressive behavior”. He says he stands up for what he has said.

– I said I’d be embarrassed. If you watched the game, you will understand. You shouldn’t focus on the wrong things, but it’s hard not to, Persson tells the newspaper.

“Bag of ice on the head”

– There were several games in which things turned out for us, the penalty against Helsingborg for example. This is how Kristoffer Karlsson received when the drop flowed. Maybe I should be able to put an ice pack on my head and have it cold, but sometimes it doesn’t work, he says.

The disciplinary committee is expected to issue a ruling before the next round of Allsvenskan.
