Police at the scene where two people were injured in an alleged shooting at Biskopsgården in Gothenburg on Monday night.
Several people who were on a staircase at Biskopsgården in Gothenburg were shot shortly before 8 pm Monday night.
Two people were injured, they were taken to hospital, but their injuries are not life threatening according to the police.
After the shooting, the police started a so-called special event in order to use the resources of the entire police region.
– Our experience is that what you do initially when it comes to serious crimes is the most important thing you can do. So we try to do everything we can to secure as much evidence as we can, police spokesman Stefan Gustafsson told TT overnight.
One of the wounded must have been shot in the leg and the other must have received a scratch on the back. There were also two other people in the house who were not injured. According to witnesses, at least one masked person has been seen fleeing the scene.
Immediately after the shooting, several police units and a police helicopter were deployed. The crime scene was cordoned off and police were still on site for a technical investigation at 03 o’clock.
No alleged perpetrator was detained overnight.
